TESDA Provincial Traning Center - Rosario
The TESDA Provincial Training Center (PTC) – Rosario is located inside the Cavite Economic Zone, Rosario, Cavite. Its establishment was initiated by the late Congressman Renato P. Dragon, District II Representative of Cavite.
With the rapid expansion of manufacturing companies within the economic zone, the demand for skilled workers significantly increased. The growing number of Caviteños and migrant workers from nearby provinces without proper skills training contributed to rising unemployment.
In response to this urgent concern, Congressman Dragon sought to address unemployment, alleviate poverty, and improve the quality of life in Cavite through accessible skills training. With the assistance of former TESDA Director General Jose D. Lacson, and after a series of consultations, a Memorandum of Agreement was signed on January 12, 1995. This formalized the partnership for the creation and transfer of the Provincial Training Center – Rosario to NMYC, now known as TESDA.
Since its establishment, the training center has consistently produced competent graduates equipped with industry-relevant skills and strong work values responsive to labor market requirements.
